Are Phil's good friends in the U.S.A. They were great friends of the late Shirley Morgan, This photo was taken in Las Vegas at Ted's Son's home.
Ted's induction into the Nevada Broadcasters Hall Of Fame was a wonderful experience. The affair was a wonderful one. They inducted about 20 radio people into the Hall Of Fame and they did according to how long they had been in radio. Well, Ted has been in for nearly 60 years so he was the last one inducted and the only one who had been in radio that long. When they called his name and read his biography the entire room of between 400 and 500 people stood and gave him about a 5 minute standing ovation. It was wonderful for his ego, the whole affair was elegant, the dinner was gourmet, which is really hard to do for that many people, and the entertainment and music were superb.
