The reclusive GUS DUCK has led an incredible Journalistic career. (He missed out on hosting A CURRENT AFFAIR only because of Ray Martin's superior hair style.  Gus now joins us each Sunday evening at 7.10pm to reminisce with stories from his diary.

I was in Germany covering the collapse of Communism for the Kevin Trask radio program on INR FM.  I was the first person on that fateful day to take a brick out of the Berlin Wall.

TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF WE DON’T ALREADY KNOW

I was first choice as the frontman for INXS after the death of Michael Hutchence.

I was also the first lead vocalist for Skyhooks before Shirley Strachan.

WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT?

Accuracy in Journalism.  I was most upset at the way I was painted as a boring, self-obsessed drunk in that story A Current Affair ran on me a few years back.  I've never been boring...

WHAT IS YOUR WORST HABIT?

I distract the nurses at my retirement village.  They say they've come to give me my medication but I know they're there to hear stories of my incredible career.
