This is an area where you can display your "Driscoll" ancestors.   All you need to do is forward copies of photo's, along with a brief description of who the people are and what they did.   You will then be contacted to confirm what will be displayed.   No photo's will be displayed without permission.

About the Clan Gathering

This page covers the highlights of the clan gathering in Baltimore Ireland, including photo's of all the functions and festival.

The O'Driscoll Clan Mid-Summer Festival takes place on the last full weekend of June each year and is designed to try and encourage a gathering of O Driscoll's from around the world.

The festival begins on the Friday with the registration of Clan members at 8 p.m. followed by a talk on the general history of the O Driscolls. 

The festival will then be opened officially at 9 p.m. in the square & this will be followed by a reception in the village. After the opening a live Traditional Music session will take place in the square, there will also be a Banquet for Clan members. On the Saturday there will be a trip to Cape Clear where the Clan members will take a stroll around the island, visit the museum, have lunch & sing a few songs in the pub. 
 
On the Sunday a Clan Mass will be celebrated on Sherkin Island, the ferry departing at 11.30 a.m. The Skibbereen Silver Band will play in the square from 12.30 - 2.30 p.m. & 3 - 5 p.m. At 3p.m. there will be the Installation of the new Clan Chieftain, which will also take place in the square.
